Hi Everybody,
I did my video presentation on Dropbox software, and how to use it to share files with the students. Also it is great for sharing files that are to large to send in an email or put on a webpage. I tried to use Camtasia to capture the video, but it would only capture the audio. Even after listening to various tutorials and reading pdfs, nothing worked. So, I used another TechSmith product, jing to record the video and after many, many, many takes, I took the best one. Camtasia stated that I could edit the jing videos in their editor. Sadly they lied. Camtasia converted the swf (shockwave file), into an avi. file, but then they would not recognized its own conversion, and put it in the their editor. So, this ended up as a long unedited file. So, it looks like most youtube help videos. Not very artistic, but you will know how to use it after watching. However, it is a work in progress, and I will try to convert it with a tube catcher, and use msn moviemaker to make it better. So, enjoy the rough draft, just click on the link below.
